Many thanks to our sponsors -- many of our neighborhood projects would not possible without their contributions and support!
The September - October OTNA meeting was sponsored by the Downtown Torrance Association (DTA), a business membership organization focused on teaming together to create an even more vibrant, hip, and the-place-to-be-seen scene in Downtown Torrance. DTA President, Bob Brandt, will update you on the latest haps!
Our sponsor for May was Chado Tea Room
1303 El Prado Ave.
Today, Chado's three locations in the greater Los Angeles area serve as role models in America's tea renaissance. Owner/Partners Reena Shan and Tekeste ("Tek") Mehreteab's dedication to sharing their love of tea and refinement has influenced and inspired thousands, and made them major contributors to tea's growth in the U.S. Chado supports tea education of every sort at every level through projects such as the Los Angeles International Tea Festival and Alson's Tea for Siblings of the Disabled, which Reena started in memory of her own disabled brother, Alson.
The March OTNA meeting is sponsored by The Yoga Harbor
The Yoga Harbor

We are Torrance's first neighborhood flow yoga studio. We look forward to welcoming you home.
- We are yoga the way your yoga teacher practices yoga. Strength-building, stress-reducing, deep-stretching yoga that doesn't wear your body down.
- We are in love with flow yoga, from the vibe-ing music to the rhythmic breath. But, we are born from the idea that flow yoga doesn't have to be an aerobics class. We're here to move your joints and leave you feeling accomplished but not punished.
- We are a true boutique, neighborhood studio, committed to providing a community to our members.
- We hand-pick each of our teachers based on their knowledge, skills, and - more importantly - their love for their students! We all love yoga, but we love you just as much.

Special thanks to Russell Akiyama of Sunflower Farms who rolled up his sleeves and educated the OTNA community about which plants prefer to sip water, rather than guzzle it at this OTNA meeting. Akiyama also provided a sneak peek into the seed packet, as to which plants are in the running for "Best Curb Appeal." Sunflower Farms is a family-owned business specializing in landscape design and services with over 40 years of implementation experience. He gave everyone at the meeting a succulent.
